Denton Inspection Stickers / Emissions Testing

As of January 1, 2025, Texas has eliminated the requirement for annual safety inspections for non-commercial vehicles. However, in Denton County, annual emissions tests remain mandatory for non-commercial vehicles. Commercial vehicles are still required to undergo annual safety inspections and are exempt from the inspection program replacement fee.
